This spectacular wedding, covered by California Wedding Day Magazine and Santa Barbara Magazine, was inspired by the movie Out of Africa and was a truly memorable event. The bride, in her form fitting Inbal Dror gown was particularly stunning in this verdant setting. The wedding took place in a shady grove under a dazzling lace chuppah. Afterwards, guests wandered throughout the zoo for private animal viewings at twilight, with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails served alongside the giraffe, lion, elephant exhibits. Dinner was served beneath romantically draped safari tents on the great lawn, with elegant silver, china, etched crystal goblets, atop diaphanous table linens softly flowing over long wooden tables. The piece de resistance was the “Watering Hole” bar replete with unique antique and vintage decor, crystal chandeliers, and heavy wood bars and groupings of exotic palms and greenery, gorgeous flowers cascading from stately containers and masses of glowing candles and other thematic elements, creating a truly memorable African experience.

"I will probably never recover from the gorgeous past five days. What a magnificent time we just celebrated! Thank you for directing this past week and making it 'over the top' excitement, happiness, and perfection for all of us. I can't say enough and my heart is so full!"
—Lee Luria, Grandmother of the Groom
