For the third year in a row, Merryl Brown Events created a dazzling corporate event for a Texas-based company on the Santa Barbara Polo Club grounds for three hundred and fifty guests. This year's event was set in a tent that was designed to look like a nomadic enclave, open to the sky in the center, replete with low slung seating areas around fire pits, layers of oriental carpets, chic hanging fixtures, gilded mirrors, macramé wall hangings atop linen draping blowing in the breeze. The band played late into the evening, as guests danced on a circular dance floor beneath a round white structure hanging with gilded modern Moroccan-inspired lighting fixtures and Capiz shell chandeliers. There was an amazing array of passed foods and action stations designed in our theme by the Four Seasons Biltmore, as well as custom cocktails served at gorgeous bars with back bars filled with an eclectic array of nomadic artifacts and lush floral. Brass trays heaped with interesting objects, containers filled with succulents, and votive candles glimmering in the moonlight created a memorable evening of breathtaking nomadic beauty.
